One week down and here we are at the start of the second week of Uni......What a rush!!
Being drag out of my comfort zone and thrust into an environment of using the old grey matter instead of my hands has so far been a truly liberating experience and unexpectedly invigorating. After all the weeks of preparation it is nice to finally be in classes and getting to meet my fellow students. I'm finding it interesting that I'm tending to pigeonhole people into 3 camps...Those that will make it......Those that probably will .......and those that look like they have no chance.
I'm most defiantly not trying to sound superior or conceited but if you roll up to your first tute with no pens, no paper to write on and no books at all I think it's a pretty safe bet that your already in a bit of trouble.
Anyway that's enough of that for the moment and I'll save my judging for a little further down the track.
Luckily sailing on the weekend was probably the best it's been all season, 20+ Knots, warm weather, sunny sky's and a good result..5th across the line!! YAY. If you want to see where and what type of boat I sail check out www.nyc.org.au and navigate to classes drop menu
Lance! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU SAIL! That is so amazing, I'm am insanely jealous! Your blog is looking awesome so far, need to check your spelling though, I'm pretty sure we get marks deducted from that! If you need me to proof read anything I'll read posts and let you know where there are mistakes and stuff! Other than that you're blog is brilliant.
ReplyDeleteP.S: Now that I've taught you how to screen shot, I look forward to stalking your page and seeing all your pictures!! :)
Thanks:)
